Fantastic location if you want to make an excursion by Alishan Forest Railway - hostel is just across the street from Chiayi railway station. The building and rooms are rather old and somewhat worn out, but everything still acceptable. They offer free parking - street is narrow so parking is actually inside the reception behind the counter, you need to drive into the building :-)

The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and spacious The location is good. It's near the Chiayi station.
